HISTORY AND NATURE OF THE FORMAT
CHESSBOXING FIGHTS is a series of events which began in Berlin in 2015. It is an urban event format made for warehouses, former circus tents or container halls. We like to think of CHESSBOXING FIGHTS as the rough little brother of the Professional World Championships where the overall feeling is that of a GALA event.
PEOPLE like you and me
At CHESSBOXING FIGHTS it’s not the best chessboxers in the world who fight but people like you and me. They fight for the experience and the respect of their opponent and the public. At CHESSBOXING FIGHTS you will see an anaesthetist from Poland fighting a nuclear scientist from Moscow, or a product designer from Berlin against a high school teacher from Sweden. Each one of them eager to experience a controlled version of a fight; an experience that got lost in our highly complex modern world.
ORGANIZE chessboxing fights in your country
The franchise package of this for-profit format includes a handbook and financial model that is based on 10 events in Berlin.
We are students, managers, taxi drivers, scientists, writers. The idea is: a product developer vs. a pizza delivery man, a nuclear scientist vs. a refugee.

CHESSboxing fights ACROSS THE WORLD
For now, CHESSBOXING FIGHTS is taking place in Paris and Berlin. The goal is to create a global network of cities where people can fight.
Chessboxing is a strategy. Gandhi is good. Tyson as well.
